GGL’s Ace Combat 6 Battle Royale complete

GGL’s Ace Combat 6 tournament has concluded its Battle Royale, bringing an end to the $15,000 Ace Combat 6 tournament.

The Battle Royale was originally conceived as an 8-man free for all (in contrast to the 2v2 tournament), but only seven players made it to the match. ..

Hello, Ace Combat 6 fans! Your semi-finalists have been crowned! As of yesterday, Jan. 3, four teams remain in the Military and Civilian brackets of our Ace Combat 6 competition. All four of them are headed to New York City for the televised finals on Gameplay HD.

Twilight Eagles squadron trailer released!

Kato Arabel of the Twilight Eagles squadron sent us this awesome trailer showing off some Ace Combat 6 action. Twilight Eagles currently have two flight groups in GGL’s Ace Combat 6 tournament: the undefeated Military Ghost Wolves (8-0) and the Civilian Black Cats (5-8). Check the trailer inside.

Fallout 3: An inside look

Back in mid-June, I was invited to Washington, D.C., by Bethesda Softworks to get a glimpse into one of their most anticipated next-gen titles, Fallout 3. Not only were we fed the details of the next step in this legendary RPG series, but we were also shown actual gameplay. What did I come away with? The feeling that waiting until fall 2008 for the game to actually ship is going to be a long and agonizing tease for all of us.

New York's World Series of Video Games grand finals event had one thing written all over it: first event. The players, the teams' managers and the journalists alike agreed that the WSVG had its shortcomings. Most of them could be put down as typical sins of youth.
