To commemorate the release of the Forbidden Kingdom DVD, GGL and Lionsgate have teamed up to bring you a contest to show off your best SoulCalibur IV custom characters.  (Click here to enter.)

The contest runs from Sept. 3 to Oct. 5.

Grand Prize: One Toshiba SD-P101S portable DVD player (worth $350) and one copy of the 2-disc Forbidden Kingdom DVD Special Edition to watch on your portable DVD player, because, let's face it, your DVDs up to this point don't compare.

Two runners up will receive: A copy of the 2-disc Forbidden Kingdom DVD Special Edition (worth $35).

Here's how to participate:

1) Create a custom character in SoulCalibur IV that closely resembles one of the main characters in Forbidden Kingdom. Visit our Forbidden Kingdom DVD site to see the character pictures and their bios.
2) Upload the character to an image service like Photobucket, Flickr or if you have video, YouTube. You can use any service you want--whatever's easiest for you.
3) Make a forum thread on GGL's Forbidden Kingdom DVD site and post your creation!
4) GGL's team of experts pick the winner and two runners up.
5) Profit!

GGL's wholly-unbiased judging crew will determine the winner, so try to be as accurate as possible in your character creation!

A note about capturing images: There are many ways to capture images from your console, including taking a snapshot with a DVR (TiVO-like device), a video capture card or even a video camera with RCA inputs. However, if you don't have access to this special hardware, you can still take a picture with a camera or your cell hone.
