GGL's Warhammer 40k: Soulstorm tournament: The story so far

mahmood
With only two weeks remaining in GGL's Dawn of War: Soulstorm competition, Kakashi859 leads the ladder sporting a 26-6 record and 3700 points.

Kakashi has been a GGL member since 2003, and this longtime gamer isn't cutting any corners. However, alien|Left, experienced in his own right, is coming up behind Kakashi with a 24-2 record and an eight win streak!

As these two battle it out at the top of the ladder, [Pyr0] is holding down the third spot at 12-13. A number of players will end up grappling for spots 4-8, but the win/loss ratio drops sharply after third place.

Down in the 10th spot, DOMAS15 and Deepflow seem to think they can ride to the top by not playing matches. This is not the case, as players with 0-0 records will be bumped off the ladder at the end of play, in favor of gamers who actually scheduled and played matches.

Stay tuned for more updates about this exciting tournament as it winds down to the finale. There are some great prizes on the line for those who win, so keep your eyes peeled.
