Frontlines®: Fuel of War™ hits stores February 25th, boasting fast-paced combat and intense military strategy in an open-world battlefield.  Team up now to showcase your skills, win cash, and advance your frontlines all the way to New York City for the tournament finals! 

This tournament is built for squads of four to compete on the Xbox 360, so step one is to form a squad.  The competition begins with a points-based ladder where squads challenge opponents, play matches, and report scores to earn points.  Points are awarded not only for winning, but also just for competing so the more you play, the better your chance to win. Upon completion of the ladder stage, the top 32 squads (128 players) will advance to a single-elimination bracket.  The bracket stage will conclude in New York City with the top two squads battling for the grand prize in GamePlay HD’s television studio!

Registration opens Monday, February 25, 2008, and continues throughout the ladder stage which concludes on Sunday, April 6, 2008. Because stage one is a ladder competition, you can jump in at any time, but of course the sooner you join and the more you play, the better your chance to advance. GGL will give you an opportunity to hone your skills and perfect your strategy as well as familiarize yourself with GGL’s competition platform during the practice ladders running February 28, 2008 through March 10, 2008. On , March 10 at 3:01 pm EST, the practice ladders will be reset and the official competition will begin. The ladder stage closes Sunday, April 6, 2008, at 11:59 pm EST with the top 32 squads advancing to compete in the bracket stage.  The bracket stage will have four rounds plus the finals tentatively scheduled for the weekend of May 9, 2008, in New York City (final date pending studio availability).

The competition is open to residents of the U. S. and Canada, ages 13 years or older (at the time of registration), and will be played with squads of 4 (no substitutions or alternates). For complete eligibility requirements and how to play, please check out the full Official Rules before you join.
