Batman wasn't a superhero....

He was symply a hero with no "special abilities" therefore, hero. Nothing was super about him.

Thank you, Walk, for explaining that to everyone. More appropriately, Roger, you are definitely not a fan simply because of those inane comments.

On the other hand, is "Return To House On Haunted Hill" gonna be kickass or what? Oh, Cerina, you shouldn't have...

Batman, was indeed a superhero. Anyone who can fight off super villains and beat them too IS a Superhero. Not even Superman can beat the Joker who was merely as mortal as Batman. In a no-holds-barred matchup Batman can even defeat Superman and Supes knows it. Batman's special ability, is his magnificent brain that is merely unmatched in the comic book world.

Damm, I already took my vacation. Now I really wish I could be there. Ruby Rocket, Tricia Helfer, Cerina Vincent, and Jessica Alba.

"Costumed adventurer with gadgets" still counts as a superhero. Also, "extreme IQ" counts as a superpower.

So does "ability to make Superman retarded whenever he's nearby." And "live with a teenage 'ward,' but no one gets suspicious."

Batman is a superhero. Plain and simple.

Vtorch:

Batman is not a superhero nor did he fight super villains. Noone he confronted (except superman) had super powers, they all used man made machines/gadgets.

He could only ever defeat superman with kryptonite which isn't a super power, its an inanimate object he would have to acquire.

Saying Batman is a superhero is like saying Dwayne Peters is also a superhero; which he is not.

Batman has tons of adversaries that have superpowers. Killercroc has super strength and can breathe underwater, Clayface can change shape, Ra's al Ghul is immortal, and Poison Ivy's blood produces toxins.

Batman also fights a whole host of villains with powers when he is with the JLA.

I stand corrected on that front Bauh4us but you still can't possibly thing he is a superhero with no ACTUAL super powers.

Kunochan is right batman's ability to live with Robin, a child half his age, and a male butler alone in a mansion outside the city without anyone from child services dropping by is a super hero attribute. god knows what goes on in the "batcave"
