I am trying to find out if this site is just a scam to get ad clicks. If anyone else has recieved or has not recieved their prizes please post here! |

#5 Posted By: LonexWolf606 on Oct 15 2009 11:52AM Im not sure exactly when i got the email confirmation the team we faced cheated so it took some time to get that settled so everyone else got the email confirmation before us but after we sent in everything the prizes came like 2 months later. |

Thanks to your top 8 finish in the tournament, you have won either cash (top 4) or COD t-shirts (5-8). But, before we can send your prizes out, we need to take care of a little paperwork. Attached please find an Affidavit of Eligibility and a W-9 tax form. Please print, read, fill out, and sign both – we have to collect those from every squad leader. Please also complete the attached squad roster, listing every member of your squad who participated in the tournament. Note - if you are NOT a U.S. resident, please fill out the W-8BEN form instead of the W-9 form. We also need the following, to prove your eligibility for the competition: 1) State-issued driver's license, OR 2) Other government-issued ID, OR 3) Student ID If you have access to a scanner, you can scan in the requested materials and email them to prizes@ggl.com. Or, you can send them by fax to “Map Pack 2 Prizes” at 310-496-1597. We need to verify all winners before we can start mailing out the prizes, so please send your materials in quickly. Thank you! We have also earned prizes in the Map Pack 2 Tournament as well as the Are You a Basterd Tournament. We have received our prizes in full for the Map Pack 1 tournament and the Are You a Basterd Tournament. We are currently waiting on the Map Pack 2 prizes. The process takes a while, but I'm not sure why everyone complains about it. I have received plenty of responses from prizes@ggl.com in regards to my teams prizes, but that is because I make it possible for them to respond to. Rather than complaining, or pointing out irrelevant flaws in their system, I try to figure out is if there is anything I can do to help. Trust me, your prizes will eventually show up. A website like this cannot operate if they didn't send you your prizes, but no where on this site did anyone agree to a "speedy" delivery process. What I recommend, is patience. Yes, even more patience. I promise, you will get you prizes, but it takes time. I didn't necessarily like waiting either, but sending emails full of complaints, is only going to delay the process even more. If you really need to know what is going on, try sending an email to prizes@ggl.com that isn't full of complaints. Try asking them if there is anything you could do to help speed up the process, or ask if they have any updates on the status of your prizes. In the end, we're all going to have to be a little more patient. Agree with me or not, I'm just trying to point out what seems to be the problem. |

#13 Posted By: xBuCkEyEz on Oct 20 2009 4:56PM well u failed misserably we ask for replies or just a status and i actually havent emailed em in a months and still no email on an update or anything FACT they ggl prizes doesnt look at emails for ovver 3 weeks cause if u try to get a response earlier your wasting your time you cant help by asking wat u could do to help.. because nothing u do will get their lazy a$$es to do it.. they do it when they want stop acting like there some perfect site that trys to get the prizes out as fast as they can they care about ads the money they consume.. the last things they care about is if the site runs slower because all the whore ads they put on it and whether ppl get prizes withing a reasonable time unlike the 4 months they take |

#22 Posted By: KiFireLedius on Nov 3 2009 3:24PM yeah ive got several decent prizes from competitions from ggl, ive got all of them except for my most recent one, been waiting 5 or 6 months on it now, but thats normal here =(... so far i believe they have paid out most competitions and the ones they didnt was when the sponsoring company went bankrupt and they never recieved all of the prize money. All that aside it takes them a really long time. |
