How sad is it that they just took people from e[}s and PM/, now they are asking for ringers to help win the tourney. I think less and less of these "elite" clans everyday.

i find it funny that you find eds disbaned pm disbaned and in less than 24 hrs both leaders are with bsk. im not dogging bsk, it sad that leader quit a clan to join an "elite" clan. i would nenver do that.i will remain a spartan no matter what even if i am the last one i stay loyal to the end and stay loyal to the members.

I keeping hearing pm disbanded but I just saw a /PM clan tag today. With eds, I read somewhere that they all abandoned the leader and went to start the new clan SOAP. Anyway, great to see the loyalty rammo. I'm sure warhawk will die before this clan does. And if the game dies, we can move to another game, assuming a multiplayer game better than warhawk ever arrives.

2) Who gets the prize blades? First of all, per the preferences of our partner Sony Computer Entertainment America, the Warhawk Team Tournament with the prize statues and blades is only “open to legal residents of the United States of America,” which is very clearly stated at the top of the Official Rules. That can’t be more clear – if you are not a U.S. resident you should not be in the competition, let alone be eligible to win a prize. If there is a team with non-U.S. members, report them and our admins will remove them from the competition. Now, that doesn’t mean we don’t like people from other countries! GGL is an international site, Warhawk is an international game, and there are lots of non-U.S. players who have contacted us about wanting to play. We can’t change the rules for this tournament, but we have created Open Ladders for anyone in the world to join, which you can find here: http://www.ggl.com/index.php?controller=Channel&method=competitions&channel=1293 . We are also looking for ways to bring prize tournaments to other territories, so keep an eye out for future activity.

Second, there are two in-game blade prizes, the “Champion’s Blade” and the “GGL-Ceremonial Knife.” Only one team gets the Champion’s Blade – the team that wins the Bracket Stage of the competition. For the GGL Ceremonial Knife, every team that participates in the tournament gets it, and participation means you must complete at least one match during the Ladder Stage of the tournament. Some of you have suggested that fewer teams should receive this, but hey – it’s a participation prize! You play a match, you have participated, you get the knife. We at GGL like to encourage participation at all levels, whether you are good or bad, whether you have a little time or a lot of time to play.

You can try all you want to start drama about 300, but it's not gonna happen. We are not a scumbag clan who forces forfeit and cheated our way to where we are. We are not a clan that kicks competition from our servers. We are not a clan that hosts stat padding room. Not one of our clan members have had their stats erased for padding.

Can sYn say that?

We agreed to drop all this bullshit, but that asshat JD keeps bringing it up. Now on top of that you are so afraid to let people see who you are you make a fake name.

I hope everyone understands that using a false US address could not only get your PSN account deleted but also have the feds knocking on your door because you're being accused of harboring a terrorist? They're that serious about foreigners using US addresses now. Canadian friend of mine got arrested a couple years ago because he was using his friend's address here in Washington to have his mail delivered. Just some food for thought.

Wow... so I didn't waste my time reading through all that stuff up there, but the one thing I found funny is that some teams would resort to using fake U.S. Addresses to circumvent the rules.

Deathmagnet had a very good point. Ask yourself, is it worth the potential quagmire you might land yourself in, just for a video game tournament?

That is pretty weak Spartans. I mean I'm not a big fan of sYn either, and I'm sure this 300 Fake guy is one of theirs, but seriously, using fake addresses to keep people eligible who clearly weren't eligible from day 1? weak sauce.

I used to really like 300. Rammo is a really cool guy. But after KO+V's win over them, they accused us of tow cheating... they said they have proof...I played in that match (Rammo didn't play so i'm not holding anything against him until i see him address this issue)...I know they are mad after that base rape we pulled both times... but honestly there are two tows on the map some one holds a tow in their hawk another tow can spawn... i saw the video they had it was pathetic... a couple times a hawk landed .. to fix with a wrench but when 5of 6 guys in hawks, not landing beside each other... think about it... it's a shame we even felt sorry for the base attacking, we started to jeep launch.... after all of this, I'm not surprised they would do a thing like this... I don't care if sYn posted under this "300 fake" we battled sYn & they played fair, good sports, and it was a fun game... 300 dropped down to the floor as far as my respect for them goes... I personally was shocked... having them try to disqualify us- has been the worst ggl experience we have had... There is only one team other than 300 in ggls that i can think of that we had problems with- and they were just trash talking so no biggie..

This email is to contest a win reported by Syndicate. I am trying to dispute it on the website, but am unable to for some reason. The clan had a problem because some of our guys are listed in other clans for different games on GGL, and for warhawk teams NOT registered for the tournament. All our players are registered on our REDBULLS team page are all who played this match are legitamate. Out match was scheduled to start at 5pm Central time. When we got to the room, and their leader contested our players, we explained what I've mentioned above to them and they agreed to play the match. We won the match and have a picture of the end of the first match to prove we did infact play, but they exited the room too soon for us to get a picture of the second match. When I logged on to report the scores, I found they had reported the win at 5pm Central time...before we even played the match!!!
After this happened, I've learned that we are not the first clan they've done this to. Please right this wrong. I've got the picture and can email the screen shot to you to of the first match to prove we played and hope that will suffice. My team has worked too hard to have this happen to them on the last day of the tournament. Please review my roster so you can see for yourself its squared away and reverse our loss and give us our earned win.

I did, and they haven't even opened the message. I can't believe none of admin was online during the last weekend of the tournament. I'll keep posting until they respond to me and fix this crap.
I've NEVER put anything on these forums...but I'll get my share for a year when I'm done unless they respond to me soon.

Teams should consist of alike clan members..............team rosters that consist of multiple clans don't make sense! The Warhawk Tournament is suppose to be clan against clan, not multiple players from different clans jumping on other clans rosters. Get with the program GGL!

A single GGL clan may contain members from different in game Warhawk clans. However, a single GGL clan may NOT have members from another GGL clan that are already participating in the tournament.

So you see, your contradicting yourself on this site. We have NO players on our roster on another team participating in the tournament. We've got players in COD4 teams, and inactive warhawk teams that did NOT register for the Warhawk Tournament.
Listen JD...I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say you listed to Seeker. Now I'm asking you to do the right thing. Review my roster yourself...you wont find another player on another warhawk team registered for the tournament. When you do realize you mad a mistake, write admin and admit you were wrong. You'll earn some respect from some on in the forums here and I promise to post just as many messages on this forum telling everyone you did the right thing.

its funny what people say behind ur back. im from bsk and i'd jus like to clear a couple things up..first of all..these guys talkin shit about bsk have never said a bad word about bsk to any of my clan mates face. Second we recruited a couple guys because we forfeited 2 matches because we didnt have enough people on our roster. Who the fuck said we are recruiting ringers? Lets check our top 6 who will be playin in the brackets 1. austinm2000(founder of bsk) 2. lacemagic2k(founder of bsk) 3. craigerson(1st clan and bsk since jan) 4.bowzhur(bsk since march, old clan disbanded) 5. bucket415(bsk since jan.) 6. willie1024(bsk since jan.)...we were runnin our ggl with 10 people before we picked up the new guys. thanks 300 for showing ur true colors..i believe we meet in the first round of the brackets..expect no mercy.

I was the leader of E[}S and I did not join within 24 hours nor did I plan to join an "elite" clan. The leadership of E[}S was weak and I couldn't do it alone. Seargent pack. Like I said on the PSForums. These were posted on our forums. This was posted by a sYn member to try and take the heat off of them.

We don't have to agree wth every decision or choice people make and I think we are allowed to talk about it. I am willing to bet there are posts on the BSK forum talking about other clans. Are we not allowed to do the same?

We don't dislike BSK or any clan, well except sYn. How you guys run your clan and recruit or what ever is your business. Just like how our posts on our forum should be our business.

dave.. anything that you post on a forum that is available to the public has a chance of becoming public. If you didn't want people to see you trying to get around the rules, you probably should have had a private, password protected forum. But you didn't, and in my opinion, any time any clan tries to circumvent the rules, it becomes the business of all clans involved in the tournament.
