C4 is no longer allowed.
Grenade launchers will still be allowed. I would like player feedback on nade launchers for the bracket. Please post a simple "Allow" or "Disallow" post. This is to work as a poll since we do not have one in our system yet so keep it to just one of those two words. DO NOT make a paragraph long post about the topic, its already been discussed in several threads and I would like to keep this simple and easy. Based on the replies on the night before brackets start, I will count the votes, and make a post about it.

but C4 being gone? i didn't even know that was an issue, you have to disallow the GL now or else the 4v4 will be one big bum rush with GL/Assault. skyllus will rape me even harder next time if i have no C4!

Final Count - 11 Disallow, 8 allow.
Grenade launchers are no longer allowed for the brackets. Any teams caught using one will suffer a forfeit loss for that particular map, brackets are best 2 of 3 maps, 3 rounds per map.

GGL-DonKing is working on the brackets. I just talked to him and he said they will be up today.

FYI when you ban c-4 and the GL you have put the WC at a severe disadvantage against sentrys, all weapons should be unbanned, Ill bet they will all be available for NYC final game

Errr, who used Grenade Launchers to kill Sentrys? It took like 5-6 grenades to kill. And getting close enough to use a C4 on a sentry is basically impossible.
I figure that if they properly balance everything with the patch at the end of the month they'll end up doing the finals with standard settings. Who knows.

a quick EMP zap, would stun it so you can walk up to it and attach C4 to it
say if your low on ammo w/ assault kit and run into a sentry, 2 grenades and 3 gl rounds is all you have left....with the current rules your screwed, but you could destroy it if you were allowed

Air strikes? Rockets? Rods? Drones even.
And I dont think that even 5 grenades would kill them currently. I know I've thrown 4 Hand Grenades and fired more grenades at it and not killed them several times. About as effective as firing machine gun at a tank.
