About 2008 Digital Games
Did you know that video gaming is the 99th Official Sport of China?!
Competitions across Sports, FPS, RTS and other genres will provide a first time opportunity to be selected for your Country’s national team!
Online Regional Qualification will commence in 5 Regions – North America, South America, Europe, Middle-East & Africa and Asia/Oceania (there will be separate competitions in China (china.ggl.com) and South Korea (korea.ggl.com).The highest ranking individuals or teams from their country within that given region at the end of the competition will be that country’s representative.
Invitations will be given to national representatives for a number of medal events happening at the 2008 DG Live Event as part of the Official Welcome Events for the Beijing 2008 Games.

About The Competition
There are 7 Digital Games regions to compete in, so everyone in the world is included: North America, South America, Europe, Middle East/Africa, Asia/Oceania, China, and Korea (that's right - China and Korea get their own separate regions!)
Play in regional Qualifying Ladders in a variety of great games from FPS, RTS, Sports, and other genres.
Although you will be playing in a Regional ladder (and can play against anyone from within your region), you will be playing for your home country! The highest ranking individuals or teams from their country within that given region at the end of the competition will be that country's representative.
